“So disappointed they removed Stairs. I feel like I need to stick with the Vivoactive 4 for this reason.”
“I'm very happy with my vivoactive 4 and will likely ask for the vivoactive 5 for Christmas.”
“It's really disappointing they removed the altimeter, it's basically makes tracking skiing/snowboarding useless”
“the vivoactive 5 will do the job :) thanks for the review”
“This watch seems like amazing value and a great choice for the more casually gym-go'er/runner/moderately active person”
“had it around 1 year. Miss the speaker and slightly better messaging from the galaxy watch 4 that I changed from, but way better for sports”
“both HR and SPO2 were mostly identical as I watched the hospital telemetry screen and she called out the values from her Vivoactive 5 on her left wrist while in bed. I know this is not the same as using it during exercising but I thought it might be important to say, just the same. For $250, 7 day+ battery life plus the Garmin Connect app...for those on Android IMO it's tough to beat for the price”
“Aod can be pretty useless outdoors. I really miss the mip display”
“I just wish their heart rates sensors as good as Apple's and Huawei's”
“your video is much more user-friendly (and entertaining)”
“I'm disappointed and will be looking at other lines from Garmin.”
“tiene muy buenas carateristicas paro al ojo se ve de mala calidad”
“looks like a great watch for the money”
“They should have kept MIP for Vivoactive 5 and add solar.”
“I've had a Venu2 for 2 years (love it) and was waiting to see if Garmin would add some of the Venu3 software features. I think this release pretty much means no.”
“I used the watch during both indoor and outdoor cycling workouts and found the heart rate measurements were surprisingly consistent with the results from my Polar H-10. My results were relatively consistent with your evaluation of the Vvivoactive 5's heart rate measurements, with my results within 1%-2% of those from the H-10. While the the Vivoactive 5 was slightly slower to respond to heart rate increases and decreases when starting and completing higher power efforts, the 1-3 second lag was well within my acceptable expectations. The amoled display is beautiful and is easily visible with clarity both indoors and outside in bright sun. Agree, Garmin has far to many different watch models, quite confusing for the consumer. Awesome fitness watch at a great price”
“My worst fears for the Vivoactive 5 :( it has AMOLED :'( sad to see when a company does not listen to their customers.”
“But as soon as I saw it has a AMOLED screen I was out! I love the transflective MIP screens.”
“Around 250€ this is a very very solid all round sports smartwatch.”
“A couple of things I like about this watch Battery! Display One of the issues I’ve noticed is the amount of gesture it needs to turn the screen on. Feels more than other watches - even the Venu SQ”
“The Vivoactive 4 had an altimeter so I'm surprised they removed it from the 5”
“So far I love it!!! It's got everything I was looking for in a Watch. I don't need to make phone calls from a Watch because I'm literally never without my cell phone. So the smart watch features Apple watch and Samsung watches have I don't need. This watch is perfect for me”
“I upgraded to this watch this was very helpful. I did have to stop and go back several times as it is fast through some instructions This is user friendly”
