it will get hot cause a fire and your house will burn down

Not as nice of a solution as there was no thermostat control built in but it worked to heat the room up at least prior to heading out there.

I just bought one so far so good. I was warm in my bedroom last night.

It's heating my room right now. (150 sq foot bedroom). http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-754200-Ceramic-Adjustable-Thermostat/dp/B000TKDQ5C It's ceramic. Quartz is supposedly a better technology, but I tried a Quartz one and it didn't seem superior to the Lasko.

For me it's only an issue in the winter, so I just put a [little space heater](https://www.amazon.com/Lasko-754200-Ceramic-Adjustable-Thermostat/dp/B000TKDQ5C) on the counter and point it at the mirror. Bonus feature: warmer bathroom.

Great smaller heaters and I've used one for the last 5+ years. The onlything is plugging them into a powerstrip can cause them to short for some reason.

It has higher range than the one on your list (it heats up 300 sq feet) and it’s cheaper to boot! I had this one when I lived in DC and it was a lifesaver.

The thermostat doesn't work it won't shut off

I've had the fan go out on 2 of these already

Own one for at least ten years now. Still running strong and warms up a small room really quick. The dials on the top no longer work but still using it daily in the bathroom by plugging and unplugging the cord.

This thing is on every night. Miracle worker bc I also have Raynauds (cold all the time). I take it with me too if I am not sleeping at home. To hotels, to the coast rental home... it comes with.

I attempted the former and am sad now haha

I'm completely shocked at the durability of this little space heater. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone not planning on allowing children access to it

I have been using the Lasko 1500W Ceramic Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat, 754200 for 2 years without any issues. I make my room airtight though. cover the gap btwn bedroom door and floor. Proofed the windows, etc. This keeps my room really warm.

this thing heats up my office ridiculously quickly in the morning and runs for most of the day without any issue. I would fight someone for that heater if they tried to snatch it!

I have [this](http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-754200-Ceramic-Adjustable-Thermostat/dp/B000TKDQ5C/) little guy and quite like it.

$26, silent. Mine is on a smart plug. It's dead silent for me. I got my first one in 2014 and I still use it.

I have one of [these](http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-754200-Ceramic-Adjustable-Thermostat/dp/B000TKDQ5C/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1419219400&sr=1-1&keywords=space+heater) that works well too. The second heater has a low and a high setting (700W, 1500W) and I can heat an entire room with it.

heats a 10'x10' room pretty quick but it can be a little noisy due to the fan (kinda like a gaming computer or a laptop flipping its shit). Had one in my dorm in the winter and it was awesome.

Reddit▲ recommend

that's the one I have, and it's amazingly warm. I don't turn the heat on in the winter, and I only have it in my room (2/2). It doesn't raise my electricity up by much

I've only had this one for three years, so I have no idea what will happen in the future, but it is extremely light and keeps my bedroom toasty.

This is what I use in my 17ft travel trailer and it keeps everything nice and toasty. I've tested it in -5°F and works great.
