Uplift V2 Standing Desk

Based on 85 comments across 2 communities
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly call this a sturdy, well-built desk that handles heavy loads and offers a huge range of sizes, tops, and finishes, with many saying they don't regret it years on. The most common knocks are the price and some wobble at full standing height, especially on the two-leg frame, though owners note the commercial crossbar frame largely solves it. A few received tops cracked or damaged in shipping, but Uplift replaced them readily; just expect a heavy, time-consuming assembly.

So far, I'm impressed with the seeming quality and the customer service. Initially the desktop arrived with a small crack (it's heavy and FedEx must have dropped it) so I emailed Uplift and they had another one delivered in a couple of days. Didn't make me jump through hoops or anything.

I have a mid as well and it does not slide, I think it depends largely on how your desk is laminated and if it has a rather sticky finish to it already.

The wobbling was too much for me. I still have no idea how anybody can stand it (see what I did there?). I switched to the 4-legged version, which is more expensive, but infinitely more stable.

So I have the 72” uplift desk and at full height there is wobble but I’m only 5’3” so at my standing height there is not much wobble and it feels pretty solid.

Very. I went with the Uplift V2 standing desk, C frame (80 inch) If you're intentionally shaking the desktop, side to side movement is very minimal with the industrial wheels (they do lock). Front to back is hardly noticable. The carpet might also help dampened some of that motion too. I'm an artist so i was less concerned about heavy movement using the k

faulty Keyboard Tray design caused notable damage to my $830 desktop AND the company did not stand behind their product

Do not be fooled by marketing reviews made by multiple sites.

It is somewhat pricey (depending on your configuration) if you are on a budget, but I really liked how I could directly customize my desk on their site as well as have predrilled holes on the desktop.

Ordered two other tops one laminate and one bamboo. Both came damaged and wasn’t a fan of either one. Then they eventually shipped this one via freight and it had no issues. Was packed much better.

After getting the legs installed and setting it upright, I noticed a crack running the entire length of the wood. This is apparent both on the top and bottom surfaces. I showed to Uplift and they explained that this can happen in dry climates

Thanks! Sure, it's an uplift desk (details below). A lot of my colleagues were swearing by them so I decided to go for it. It took a week for my Herman Miller (Embody) chair to arrive, so I was doing a lot of standing. It's pretty awesome actually.

I'm beyond satisfied. So many different top options, accessories to add, and you get like $400 worth of free stuff that's actually not junk. 10/10 recommend over the hm leather wrap.

I think at this point in the standing desk game the designs are so similar you may really not notice a difference between the 3 (i have the uplift 4 leg with connected feet)

Even though the Uplift v2 is the most stable two leg standing desk we've tested without a cross support

Uplift V2 standing desk, 60” table top (you can choose from a few different sizes, I think up to 72”). It’s not cheap but I mostly WFH and I like to stand a few hours a day.

It is the [Uplift Desk solid walnut butcher block 72" x 30"](https://www.upliftdesk.com/uplift-v2-standing-desk-v2-or-v2-commercial/). I'm obsessed with it!

Can't recommend it enough. Great price, great quality. Bamboo is a softwood so I got the large black pad

Granted it's a 3 leg desk rather than a 4 leg - but it's very stable. Commercial frame seems to help.

It is an Uplift Desk V2 standing desk. Not OP, but they are great!

Desk is very sturdy and no wobble at standing heights even.

I got an L Shaped from Uplift Desk. They can get pricey but so far I’ve been impressed by the quality. Assembly was an ordeal. 5 huge boxes. Took two people around 4 hours to put it together.

I currently upgraded to the [V2 commercial desk](https://www.upliftdesk.com/). It's very stable at max height, which is an upgrade from the converter I used to have.

The build quality is solid and it's one of the most stable standing desks out there. Granted, at higher heights there is very little wobble (not distracting though), but this is a thing with all standing desks.

I can sit on it and it will lift me. The motors don't even sound any different than if I an not sitting on it. I weigh just over 200 lbs.
