Apple iPad Air (M3)

Scored on 13 verified owner verdicts, from 415 comments read across 4 communities
TL;DR
Owners agree the M3 Air is fast and a fine general-use tablet, but many feel let down by the still-60Hz, non-ProMotion display that feels cheap for the money. Most describe it as only a modest upgrade with little reason to pick it over the Pro or to upgrade from an older Air, and several were disappointed by battery life during Pencil-heavy use.

23% of 13 verified owners recommend the Apple iPad Air (M3), based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

I've been using an M1 iPad Air for college and it's held up extremely well.

having absolutely no cross platform software support is absolutely infuriating

I had the 11 inch and ended up selling it because the size just didn’t workout for me

I am very satisfied with it

60hz hurts more now than ever before

I use iPad air M3. Maganda sana si huawei if may google services, kaso wala eh. I suggest sticking to iPad if may iPhone kana because of the airdrop functionality. Otherwise, look for an android tablet dahil sobrang hirap gamitin ni iPad if wala kang ibang apple products.

I went with the Air M3 for multitasking power compared to A16.

still no 120Hz display is devious work

Kinda cool but no oled or 120hz

There’s no difference, don’t waste your money the m3 is as good as the m4

I bought mine almost exclusively for the procreate software and the apple pencil, love both. I'm very impressed with the entire software landscape on it, procreate especially

if only the screen was a 120hz and an oled of some kind...

How are still using 60hz display, it is 2025.

I love this for drawing - snappy, quick, pencil pro works like a dream.

it’s great but 1 trick they really missed with this is the magic keyboard could really use some kind of lighting from beneath the keyboard

M1 iPads not supporting Apple Intelligence sounds like a good reason not to upgrade tbh

YouTube▲ recommend

Since owning the device I have not put it down

I'm never gonna complain about more single core perf and efficiency at the same price. But it's certainly not major reason to upgrade

I am in uni using it every day and have the 13inch M3. I would reconsider the 11inch model. It’s actually perfect in terms of weight and portability. I like my 13inch iPad for the most part but the 11inch is the most joyful to use.

I’m more satisfied with it the second time around than the first

60hz should be illegal in 2025.

YouTube— neutral

on the whole there isn’t a massive difference, so your advice of getting the M3 instead of M4 is justified

YouTube▲ recommend

I actually enjoy it especially since iPadOS 26 has dropped

$300 for a keyboard is wild
