What KitchenAid Classic K45SS owners say

I had ordered a used Cuisinart, but I really wanted another KitchenAid.

Kitchenaids are so cool. I've restored one K45SS and I'm now restoring a bigger lift-bowl one, both with modern parts. Everthing fits! They're a joy to work on.

used/refurb Professional 6000HD are often available for $150-300 and would be a huge step up from the K45SS.

What KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus KV25G0X owners say

I have the 5qt bowl lift model and I love it. The only downside is that it doesn't do well with very small batches of meringue; but meringue powder is pretty inexpensive so I just make a little more than I need.

No regrets.

Once I started baking bread I bought a bowl lift professional 5 plus. It is way tougher and works well, but heavy dough really taxes it and I have smelled burnt wiring a few times while kneading. I like the tilt head for medium duty work, but I don't think I would recommend a bowl lift to anyone.
