I have the NR6100. It’s a great receiver at the price point! I loved it for a while but found myself needing more power with a speaker upgrade. I’m sure you know but without pre-outs that’s not possible

Bought a new one (TX-NR6100 practically identical some people refer to yours as the “Costco” variant)and had nothing but issues (HDMI signal appearing the same as your 2nd picture and complete loss of signal) Returned for a replacement and the 2nd one did the exact same.

After dialing in my AVR (Onkyo TX-RZ50) and tweaking their placement, I was relatively blown away by how much fuller, richer, and deeper the sound was.
