Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds

Based on 135 comments across 4 communities
TL;DR
Owners are nearly unanimous that the noise cancellation is the best they've ever heard, paired with rich, immersive sound and a comfortable, secure fit. The recurring downsides are reliability problems: static or crackling in the buds, Bluetooth dropouts, and a buggy app, with some buyers going through multiple replacements. A bass-heavy stock tuning, short battery life, and a weak call mic round out a brilliant-but-uneven pick.

53% of 135 verified owners recommend the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.

to enable the wireless charging feature on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra wireless earbuds it’s required by Bose to buy a $50 silicone case to do this. I fully believe this is greedy

Bose Ultra earbuds are also a great pick, but I would say not worth the extra money over the AirPods.

the only earphones I can use is the Bose Ultra Quietcomfort Earbuds. They come with three sizes of ear tips; their smallest I still find uncomfortable if I’m wearing for more than two hours, so I also bought their alternate sizes kit with an even smaller ear tip that fits perfectly.

ANC and sound quality are just ok and considerably inferior compared to my Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, but the case of the Bose is huge so I only use those in the gym

Noise cancellation - Bose is miles better, like night and day difference.

the original first gen quietcomfort earbuds, remained in the quietcomfort II, and still remain in the Quietcomfort ultra. Beyond that, they have made improvements everywhere else.

now a few days in I'm hearing a LOT of weird quiet high-pitched buzzing noises that fade in and out at different pitches constantly. Its only something I hear when it's quiet

**ANC:** Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.

I have them along with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. Bose still leads by a good margin with ANC but the general interactions (like touch controls and app) with the GBP3 is better by a lot

Did a test today of real and simulated noise and the Bose truly has class leading ANC, no question about that. I'm giving up on the Bose because whilst they are the best with ANC, as a daily driver, they're not for me.

Rocking it with my Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds with Spatial Audio tracking on? And it’s an amazing experience!

They’re extremely sensitive to moisture and earwax. I’ve got 3 pairs of earbuds and one of them just broke because I had moisture left in one of my ears after cleaning.

I just got the QC Ultra Earbuds and they're riddled with hissing, beeping, and crackling issues. If you're gonna rock these earbuds without music at all, skip these.

Anc is definitely better on bose but not dramatically (\~20% better).

Have gone from Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds to the AZ100's and the sound quality knocks them out of the park. ANC Bose has a slight edge

I am very happy with bose quietcomfort ultra.

I've tried Sony WF-1000XM4, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, Bose QuietComfort Ultra. None of those are in the same class as the Aurvana Ace 2.

It was an issue with my previous Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II and even worse on a succesor Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. It was that reason why I got rid of them.

I own Bose Ultra quietcomfort earbuds, headphones(the latest one) and plenty other ANC earbuds and for the price to performance ratio they are easily the best ones out there.

+1 on the Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds II or Ultra. Regarding the connection issues, just revoke the nearby access permissions from the app.

Within an hour of usage, the Bluetooth connection went bonkers. I tried every solution available, but the connection was just god awful. Eventually I gave up, returned the earbuds and bought a different pair.

I just switched from bose quietcomfort ultra to airpods pro 2 and the noise cancelling is much better in my opinion. The bose noise cancelling made my ears feel a little weird and it kind of gave me a headache

I have been using Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds and they are the best fr. I used it on flights and they create this insane “bubble of silence.” The sound quality is also super immersive

The bands they come with are terrible IMO. I went ahead and ordered the size 4 that they sell (for some reason it's almost like a secret) and they work amazingly well. Annoyed they didn't come with them, but still, the size 4 is worth it.
