“I owned both. Personal preference was a toss up for me. I think this Coway had the edge on white noise and looks but that's quite subjective. At the end of the day it's a HEPA filter with carbon prefilter. They're going to perform similarly.”
“I have 3 of these and 1 airmega 400 in a 1500 sqft house. i recently moved in my girlfriend and 2 daughters(who are alergic to cats) into a house with 2 furry ass kitties. they have had 0 issues, so I'd put some solid faith in them.”
“I have one of these in the bedroom and an Airmega 400 in the family room. The Airmega is pretty big, so it'll certainly be more obtrusive than two of the 1512 in opposite sides of the room. Can't really test the efficacy, both work well.”
“i have both this and the airmega 400. both are fantastic, but for very different sized rooms. this is for a single small-mid sized room, and the airmega is for a whole floor or very large room. both are very quiet, most people can't even hear the airmega on it's lowest setting.”
