Levoit Core 300S

Scored on 82 verified owner verdicts, from 386 comments read across 4 communities
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly like the Core 300S for visibly cutting down dust, pet hair, and cooking or smoke odors, and many praise how quiet it runs in auto and night modes for the price. The biggest gripes are pricey replacement filters and a built-in air-quality sensor several owners find unreliable, with a handful reporting weak performance or motor noise. It's a strong, budget-friendly pick for small rooms, but expect it to struggle in larger spaces.

72% of 82 verified owners recommend the Levoit Core 300S, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

We have two of the Levoit Core 300S, and in the last year, we had had both replaced under warranty. Both had their motors fail. They first started making a squealing noise, which got louder and louder. First failed within 30 days, second after six months.

levoit is THE BEST air purifier I've tried, I've tried molekule, Honeywell, and many other brands but levoit just does it the best

I like the Levoit Core 300s due to simplicity of changing the filter, but they are less performant and most costly if you buy the authentic purifier replacements.

I bought two Coway AP-1512HH and 4 Levoit Core 300s to cover the majority of my house. They've made a noticeable improvement in my allergies! I don't think they really cut down on dust much

best air purifier, and I have tried a few

The air purifiers regularly reads a “1” especially when it’s on (understandably), but when I open the door to let particulates in the reading hardly changes while the independent sensors do.

I had a levoit Core300S but this would require changing the filter every 3 weeks as it would get totally saturated in E juice , which would mean a £30 bill every 3 weeks just for filter , not viable

I have to replace the greenish filter from Levoit Core 300S after 3 months because it starts to stink when I turn it on.

We also have a Levoit Core 300s that used to be in our bedroom but we moved that to another room as I like the washable prefilter of the Vital 100s better.

I have two of these, with pollen so awful in NC right now it’s literally a breath of fresh air every time I get home because of them.

Levoit Core 300s can lower a PM of around 70 to 10 in 12m2 room for 60minutes of running on max fan speed. I test that regularly in my cigar room 😂

We went with the Levoit Core 300s can be controlled by wifi/app. So far it’s been great. It also has a nice “lock” feature to keep the controls from being manipulated by curious little hands.

I originally had a Levoit Core 300s, and find the Starkvind works a lot better to filter air (and filters are less than half the price).

skúsil som levoit core 300s smart. Je populárny aj vo svete na rozdiel od toho druhého a má aj kopec reviews. Osobná skúsenosť zatiaľ v pohode

i just bought levoit core 300s, no idea in m2 how big is the area but it's a small square room with high ceilings, been on since yesterday and so far it seems good although i don't think inbuilt sensor is working properly

I have a Core 400S, and two Core 300s. They all make the same annoying motor noise.

I run an air purifier in my room, no problems

I recently purchased the Levoit core 300s also. I have an old Philips air purifier also. I noticed that the Levoit does not detect any change in the air compared to my Philips one. In the same room, dust and smoke, the Philips detects the air pollutants and changes it's icon to red. However, the Levoit doesn't detect any change in the air.

We use the Levoit core 300s in our spare bedroom, it’s the correct size for the room. It’s a little louder for sleeping than the Coway.

I have a couple of Levoit Core 300s and they make my apartment noticeably less dusty and cat hair-y, and I think they help with cooking smells.

I use the Levoit Core 300S (or something like that, it's on Amazon). It only contains one filter that does it all, although the filters are pretty pricey.

I use a Levoit Core 300s which has an official integration via cloud, but instead I took it apart and flashed it with esphome which gives it pretty good fully-local functionality.
