my Babyface really does deliver 125 dB(A) dynamic range with the XLR output

I had the BabyFace Pro FS for 6 months, really loved it, but I replaced it for about the same price by a Motu Ultralite MK5 and I can say the Motu is a more versatile product with even slightly better audio quality

Excellent interface but hated the breakout cable BS. Sold it and went with Antelope Audio's Synergy Discrete 4 and now we be totally satisfied.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I think for the price and performance the Motu Ultralite mk5 is an excellent choice over the RME

there is a high probability that 20 years from now the drivers for that interface are still up to date, just like RME still does with their first product.

putting in 3 times the price of the M2 to get only marginally better performance (hello, diminishing returns) really wouldn't have made much sense for me

In terms of sound, they do not stand a chance against Apogee, and Apollo X series no way!!!!

It’s not immediately apparent what justifies the high cost, but the deeper I look, the better the deal looks.

Wow, fantastic latency specs. RME drivers are incredible. I'm still using my Multiface to this day.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I have had Babyface Pro for years now and I still struggle to use it in standalone mode since it only works in mono...

The driver is the real beauty. Rock solid under any conditions, infinite flexibility, no limitations.

Well i thnk this is a good promotion and is a really good interface but for 1000$ man? Maybe i'll go for the Apollo Twin!

Baby-face is nice but honestly I would do a comparison more with UCX 2.

YouTube▲ recommend

I've owned the heavy iron from Apogee and I love my little Babyface more.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I felt I was using an interface from 2006. I didn't like it at all.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

it looks cool . until you plug things in the it looks messy

YouTube▲ recommend

Super crisp and defined sound, tank build, ultra low latency, flawless drivers. It's simply no brainer for this price range.

I just bought a first gen UCX over the rme babyface, its a better form factor, more features and seems to be available for the same price

No TRS monitor outputs, Midi cable splitter 😂, and hardware controls are a pain in the ass. That's not to say it's not a great sounding interface, but for $1000 I'd expect slightly more.

YouTube▲ recommend

Babyface pro fs is so worth the price. I thought I was going to have buyers remorse but it became the opposite.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Gosh, this looks like a massive pain to set up

si se ven muy feas jeje aún que no influye en el resultado a muchos nos gusta también algo que se vea cool

Where they really shine is long-term use and stability. They support their products for 10 to 20 years and I've never had it failed.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Super confusing interface

Redditⓘ good to know

I use both and to be honest, it’s really hard to tell between both in terms of AD/DA.
