Sony designers were genius making it look like the old ones

It is a shame they were so close to a slam dunk though but then layed it up with the remote and display being sub par.

    YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Looks quite good, but I'm disappointed in the lack of EQ features.

I bought the AZ5000 based on your review of this receiver. The 360 spatial mapping is great, especially in video games.

Their 360 mapping is unique and differentiates them from the competition. Only wished they upgraded the remote

there are some wicked cool unique features on this one, especially the ability to use Sony's own wireless surrounds and/or subs. That's a game changer, right there.

I'll wait for several months before purchasing another Sony receiver/amp but I hope it's a successful product.

when I have seen interiors of this Sony ES flagship I was quite shocked, it is like a modern cars, a lot of features, but tiny small downsized 1L engine. Extremely small power supply, small capacitors, small heat sinks
