after a short period of usage, I got extremely tired of those small wheels get tangled.

the Dyson brand are the best ‘all rounder’ than the competitors.

Another con for me is that it doesn’t stand on its own if you want to move something to the side while vacuuming.

That laser makes me go insane looking for every bit of dust and dirt. It's fun but at the same time I can't stop until it's spotless!

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

all their different versions are so fucking confusing.

I also love that it can increase power to compensate for the amount of debris it encounters. Feels like an engine rev.

I have the dyson v15 detect + and the hair always gets clogged

the latest and greatest, with a trigger button you need to hold, I think Dyson needs to hire another engineer to install a on/off button

YouTube▲ recommend

I've owned it for close to a year now and it's phenomenal.

I have a new Dyson v15 detect, the machine started having issues, Dyson customer service says it need replacing but they don’t have the part in stock! Horrible experience!

Reddit▲ recommend

Got mine for $800ish. I would buy again for 1k if I had to. It’s that good.

Even thought its a a little weak I still like it it , its good enough

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

Got a new one because I liked the new features on the v15 detect, it broke after just 2 weeks and I’m going on 2 months trying to get my replacement under warranty.

Seems great. Agree with your list of pro and cons.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I have the V15 detect cordless and it's ability to vacuum up anything larger than dust is a joke. Don't buy their vacuums if you have children who drop stuff.

YouTube▲ recommend

This vacuum is a game changer.

Egyetlen hibája az az akksi, auto fokozatban kb 40 percet bír, booston meg kb 10-et, meg lassan is tölt szóval ha nagy a terület lehet nem árt venni még egy akksit.

But...it works better than any other cordless vacuum I've used, and in my opinion cleans as well as a corded vacuum does. I paid a premium for no cord.

Haben einen Dyson v15 Detect Absolute, kann ich absolut nicht empfehlen. Das Ding saugt prinzipiell gut, aber von der Haptik etc. ist das Schrott.

YouTube▲ recommend

Still has great suction and works perfectly.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I sent in my v15Detect Absolute two weeks ago - owned for a year and two months - it was manufacturer defect so it is covered by warranty.

YouTube▲ recommend

It is super satisfying. lol

The Dyson can get up all the long hair that the Miele has trouble with, and the Miele brings a level of vigor and endurance that the Dyson can't quite match. So yeah, to get carpet really clean, I vacuum twice.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have both the Dyson V15 Detect and Dyson V15 Detect + (aka Absolute) and both my vacuums sound like yours does.

Redditⓘ good to know

I bought a Dyson V15 Detect because there's a difference between having the best of something that's more tedious to use and something that's not quite as good but much more convenient.

Redditⓘ good to know

this is a video of my nearly 2 year old Dyson V15 Detect Extra, model number SV47, using a Submarine head without issue. The suction remains off, the head spins - it works.

Redditⓘ good to know

I’ve used the Roomba and then gone over the floor again with the Dyson, and honestly, the Dyson only picked up a little bit of leftover debris.

Redditⓘ good to know

My Dyson V15 Detect started acting up a couple of weeks ago. Every time I turned it on, it would shut off within 2–3 seconds. I reached out to Dyson customer support, and they promptly sent me a replacement cyclone unit.

Redditⓘ good to know

I use hardwood floor head on my tumble rug. I used carpet head, but I didn't like how it feels.

Redditⓘ good to know

I just kind of move the canister up and down and it shakes out. Even filled with dog hair.
