“We had a Dyson V8 Animal that lost suction power pretty badly over the course of about 2 years. We got it serviced and did everything they recommended but it's just a useless piece of crap. Ended up going back to a plug in Miele.”

“We have a Dyson V8, but recently moved and got a Shark PowerDetect and on balance the Shark is a better product that definitely feels more solidly built. The one thing that I’ll give the Dyson, though, is the it’s a lot lighter than the Shark, which makes extended cleaning sessions a bit easier.”
