Shark Stratos Cordless

Scored on 159 verified owner verdicts, from 429 comments read across 4 communities
TL;DR
Owners consistently praise the Shark Stratos Cordless for powerful suction on both carpet and hard floors and rollers that shrug off pet hair and long hair without tangling, calling it strong value next to pricier Dyson and Miele models. The bendable wand and handheld conversion add real convenience for stairs and quick cleanups. The common gripes are a big, heavy floor head that's awkward to maneuver, filters that need regular cleaning to hold suction, and worries about reliability, warranty, and battery life for the price.

53% of 159 verified owners recommend the Shark Stratos Cordless, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

I wish Shark would include a hose with their stick vacuums, I don't understand why most manufacturers don't.

I really wish these had LED lights on the canister though because it'd come in handy when using the vacuum as a handheld.

It does what I want it to do - vacuum very will in smaller areas

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

One thing I don’t like is that it can’t stand up right as it’s too heavy it will drop

impressive but judging reviews from amazon, half say this needs more battery life.

One has to go back and Im leaning to the shark because It doesn't have to be mounted

All I care is if the vacuum cleans and at the end of the day, it does.

We own a Stratos Cordless. Love the vac. Hate that there are no replacement batteries available.

I can bring it to the car and suction around and stuff so much better the stick shit is not good.

I have a Shark Stratos Cordless and the LG A9. The LG works better on carpet but sucks on hardwood floors. The Shark does great on hardwood floor but does just ok on carpet.

I was was almost convinced on buying this , thanks for saving

Right now, I’m using the Shark Stratos Cordless, and while it’s not perfect, it does have strong suction and an anti-hair wrap brush roll that keeps long fur from tangling too much. My biggest gripe? The dustbin fills up super fast

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

It’s pretty loud compared to our old shark vertex lift. The dirt sense is annoying and seemed to get stuck on full blast

YouTube▲ recommend

I just bought one and it’s fantastic.

I have a shark stratos cordless. Was $350. Love most of the vacuum. Its powerful, decent runtime, accessories, etc. The multi flex is nice but, the hinge is very weak. I've broken 2 multi flex wands and I've only had it 9 months. $30/each

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

If you are hearing impaired already this is the perfect vacuum for you.

YouTube▲ recommend

I Would highly recommend stratos it rarely clogged and it ate up mostly everything

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

this vacuum has no additional / replacement batteries available for it from Shark. It also has no accessories, other replacement parts, or replacement filters available

YouTube— neutral

It's great but terrible for crevices due to the lack of any proper hose attachment.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have the IZ862, I agree with many that it's nothing to get excited about. Absolutely would never recommend as a whole house vacuum. I use mine for quick pickups, some crumbs on the kitchen floor, the dogs brought some grass clipping in the breezeway. It does OK, and the convenience of no cord is nice.
