“The Bambino Plus no longer pulls proper shots. I have descaled, used bigger grounds, reset to factory settings and nothing, NOTHING seems to work. Is it planned obsolescence? I'm beginning to think so. I won't be buying another Breville product of any sort moving forward.”

“Owned the bambino plus over 2 years now. Never had a single issue. Routine maintenance on it. Makes great espresso. However this past week the lights will no longer turn on”

“I love this machine.”

“One of the annoying parts of the Bambino Plus for me is the forced clean or descale cycle. You can pull a great shot, be ready to steam, but that shot just triggered the mandatory clean cycle and there is no way to bypass it.”

“I love and swear by this machine left right and centre. Low cost, great espresso, small footprint”

“great machine making great espresso and milkies at least once a day for 3 years. Love the small size and feature set. Recently the machine has stopped heating water”

“on the plus, I am fairly confident that the blank preheat shots DO count on the shot counter towards the forced cleaning cycle that you can't get out of (despite the manual saying that you can skip the cleaning cycle, it's not true on my Plus).”

“I've got this machine. I use both the auto steaer and steam my own. Auto when im lazy and rushed, manual when I've got time.”

“if I go back to the steam wand on my Breville Bambino Plus, I now know what consistency I want from manually foaming milk because the automatic foaming never worked for me.”

“I have a Breville Bambino Plus, it requires a lot of concentration to pull a good shot. The only benefit over yours is it’s ready to go in 5 seconds.”

“the Bambino has some annoyances like the super small drip tray and its messy cycle cleaning.”

“As a Breville Bambino plus owner, I'm afraid I don't understand this pain at all. 10 minutes sounds just awful.”

“We have a Breville Bambino Plus, and while it makes a good cup of espresso, the water is pushed through for a full 15 seconds, so we have to take the cup out after 6 or 7 seconds and let the rest of the water go into the tray and dump it.
It did not do this at first, started doing it after about a year.”

“I'd strongly recommend a Breville Bambino Plus. Spectacular machine that, IMO, makes a better coffee than a lot of the more spenno ones, and has some nice QOL features like the auto-milk frother and 3s start up time.”

“I have had no issues with this setup. It's obviously not the same quality as the machines I am used to in the shop, but I definitely feel it was worth the price. The grinder has some static, but I typically only lose 0.1g of espresso when grinding. The Breville has a decent steam wand and makes good espresso for an entry-level machine.”

“I have the Bambino, which i upgraded with a bottomless portafilter. Combined with a 1zpresso hand grinder. I only make 2 or 3 a day max, so I feel this combination works well for me.”

“I have a Breville Bambino Plus (actually two) and a Eureka Chrono (upgraded espresso burrs) and am happy with the price, footprint, and quality of the coffee. That said, the original one has a problem with its milk temperature sensor and cooks the milk, and the replacement they sent occasionally bails out at the start of the shot. Easy enough to press the bu”
