The pro adjust works excellent as long as you go slow and don’t use too much pressure (because it flexes).

I own the Mk2. I use it for my beater/hard use knives to put a quick working edge back on, but I don't use it for any knives I really care about.

I've done more harm to a couple of my blades giving this thing a try. Maybe once you've destroyed a couple dozen knives you'd probably get the hang of it.

I have that belt sander sharpener works fast gets job done. Definitely hard to use and removes a lot of blade quick trying to learn I use it for my kitchen knives now only... Can get a good edge with it but last pocket knife I did was really uneven

got the Work Sharp, it does a great job on both the 20 and 25 degree settings. Changing the belt is not bad, liking it enough so far that I gave the Chef's choice to my brother.

I do highly recommend their sharpeners. I do admit a fondness for these because it was the first knife sharpener where I had good fast results with little training.

I touch up all knives I use about every month with my mk2 now. I use a slow speed and highest grit. Almost always comes out hair shaving again unless I have to drop a grit for a more beat up knife.

Don't get me wrong - I use the thing daily.
