Others describe ongoing problems, including trouble streaming TV and Firesticks across multiple homes and weeks of instability serious enough that owners who depend on the network for working from home say they're considering a different system.

Owners are split on the Deco BE63: one camp finds it fast and simple, reporting near-gigabit real-world throughput on 5GHz, negligible wired-vs-wireless latency, and an easy out-of-box setup that 'just works.' A meaningful minority, however, describe a much rockier experience -- satellite nodes dropping off or refusing to connect, recurring 'failure to connect' errors, and, for some, sluggish response times and high latency that undercut the advertised speed tier. Several dissatisfied owners compared it unfavorably to other mesh systems like Orbi and described giving up on the product after repeated troubleshooting. The overall picture is a system capable of excellent performance when it works cleanly, but with a real subset of units or setups plagued by connectivity reliability problems.

Owners are split on the Deco XE75: when it's stable, people love the fast near-line-rate speeds and strong multi-story coverage, and it shines in AP mode. The recurring complaint is reliability, with random drops and reboots that need a power-cycle, fussy wired backhaul, and firmware updates that sometimes make things worse. It's a solid value 6E mesh if you get a good unit, but be prepared for possible troubleshooting and thin advanced controls.

Owners who got the Orbi 870 working praise its fast Wi-Fi 7 speeds and wide coverage, especially over a wired backhaul. But far more report satellites dropping, devices disconnecting mid-use, buggy interfaces, and firmware headaches that pushed them to RMA or return the system. Most say it only becomes reliable with a wired backhaul, and even then the high price and subscription nags make it a hard sell.
