Waterbox Cube 20

Based on 12 comments across 2 communities
TL;DR
Owners consistently call the Waterbox Cube 20 a well-built, good-looking all-in-one that holds up over years and works nicely for a small reef. The main gripes are the cramped back chamber, which is fiddly to work in and limits pump upgrades, and a few wishing they'd sized up. A solid pick for someone wanting a quality, compact nano reef who's fine with a tighter AIO footprint.

75% of 12 verified owners recommend the Waterbox Cube 20.

I have the cube20 and when I tried to upgrade my return pump the flow into the back of the tank couldn’t keep up. Went back to the stock pump and added a random flow generator to it instead.

I bought a waterbox cube 20 and love it but a LFS near me had pro star 60 fully equipped as a package and I really wish I went with that instead. Mainly because aio with everything installed is just a pain to work in.

Waterbox cube 20 is really the best imo.

The waterbox cube 20 is a fantastic choice too. I’m running one with 2 clowns, a firefish and a bunch in inverts. It’s a great quality tank and really well built.

the cube 20 is the AIO option like the fluval. It's a way better tank.

I like it... it's a good looking tank. I appreciate that it keeps a high water line, and ample room in the sump area for flexible setup.

I’ve had both the IM 20 and the waterbox 20. The only one I still have up and running after years of use is the WB20. The IM was fine and I liked the wider footprint. My issue with it was the front to back space is very limited as well as it being a dual overflow which has pros and cons. But for me, I prefer upgrading the media racks etc which tends to be mo
