Anker Soundcore Motion 300

Based on 16 comments across 2 communities
TL;DR
Owners generally feel the Motion 300 is a strong value with deep, full bass and a tunable EQ that helps dial in the sound, and several rate it as a great little 360 speaker laid flat. The most common complaints are that it can sound muddy or unclear even after EQ, that the bass doesn't carry well over distance outdoors, and that the boosted bass can drown out the mids.

The Motion 300 definitely goes deeper in the bass and is bass boosted out of the box which can drown out the mids. If you value boosted bass over midrange detail then you'll like the Motion 300 for sure.

I prefer the sound signature of Soundcore over JBL portable speakers

I have it, and the latency on it is pretty bad and very noticeable. Not an issue if you're playing music but definitely an issue if you're watching a video

At first I didn't like x300 to much. bass was ¿not clear? for me. Something wasn't right, but I started to like it with the time.

I tried flip 6 and motion300 and much preferred the 300. Imo better sound, battery life, app support and of course its much cheaper

purchased a motion 300 ($80 CAD not bad) but it's just underwhelming even after EQing, it's quieter and less clear than the ueboom2.

I've decided to return the 300. It is a REALLY nice speaker, but it just isn't better than the UBL.

the Motion 300 seems to focus a more "premium" market, doesn't really feel at home at a construction site yes.

My 300 sounded (to my ears, with EQ) better than the Stormbox 2.

I honestly rate this higher than the beloved Boom 2 because it is true stereo and doesn't sound thin from the stereo tweeters/mono woofer DSP.

I felt like the UBoom was able to carry bass further than the 300 if that makes sense to you. The 300 would produce the fuller bass close by, but when standing a couple metres further away I felt like the UBooms bass was more present. I do agree with you though that the 300 feels like the more refined product and being able to use it laying flat for a more s

300 is great. Sounds as good to me as my Uboom L, Flip 6 or Motion Plus did, but lays flat which helps in a golf cart.

Soundcore has done well with the Motion 300, especially when you consider what it costs. It retails for well under a hundred bucks, and for that you get a portable speaker that's small enough to drop in a day bag and still has good battery life, plenty of volume, and impressive audio quality for its size.
