“Mine had a different issue. I solved it by turning it off when it was plugged in. Unplugging it, then turning back on.”
“Maybe the firmware (v0.3.9.0) has nothing to do with it, it's some kind of hardware problem. Later the speaker started working normally. The only thing I did was factory reset. But maybe this is not a solution, because it did not help right away.”

“In addition to his statement, i suggest you use a little pointy sewing pin/toothpick and dab it with little amount of super glue and use it to stick the glue onto the logo/cloth so it wont be messy instead of applying the whole superglue directly on the speaker.”
