My experience with the 356B is that when cutting gritty materials (grout etc) the 3 speed switch collects the grit and jams right up. Impossible to clean.

The Pivot on the bldae holder gets in the way, although its quick to change blades, you cant get the depth of cut or see the cutting edge clearly in tight spaces, like underneath the sink etc, The Fein is so much more compact at the head.

More than worth it. I do restoration rebuilds on homes, and this is a tool I use nearly every day for many different reasons. I’ve had several of different brands, but this is by far the toughest one.
